Private nursing services

Care built around your family, not a program.

Private-duty skilled nursing

One-on-one RN/LPN care for complex pediatric needs at home: tracheostomy, ventilator, G-tube feeding, seizure management, and medication administration.

Overnight nursing

Sleep through the night while a licensed nurse monitors your child. You rest; your child is watched by a professional the whole time.

Respite care

Planned relief for parents of medically complex children — a date night, a weekend away, or time to recover, without worrying about who is at the bedside.

Bridge care

Waiting for program approval or between coverage? Private nursing can begin now, so your child never goes without skilled care while paperwork catches up.

Travel & event nursing

A nurse accompanies your family on vacations, family events, or school functions, so your child can be part of every moment safely.

Concierge membership

Reserved weekly hours, same-nurse continuity, priority scheduling, and direct access to your care team — for families who want care on retainer.

How it works

Three steps. No guesswork.

You will know who is coming, what they are qualified to do, and what happens if plans change — before care ever begins.

1

Private consultation

Tell us about your child and your family's routine. We listen first, then explain exactly how care would work in your home.

2

Custom care plan

A nursing care plan built around your child's needs and your schedule — the hours you want, with the skills your child requires.

3

Care begins

Your nurse arrives prepared and briefed. If your nurse is ever unavailable, we staff a qualified replacement so care is not interrupted.

Standards

Who we send into your home.

Every nurse is licensed in Georgia, background-checked, and skill-verified for the care your child needs before they take a shift — including tracheostomy, ventilator, G-tube, seizure, and medication management.

  • State-licensed Private Home Care Provider — Georgia Department of Community Health (Permit PHCP011483)
  • Licensed RN and LPN nurses
  • Background checks on every caregiver
  • Skills verified with documented proof, not promises
  • A dedicated care coordinator for your family
  • Qualified replacement staffing if your nurse is unavailable

Questions families ask

Straight answers.

What does private nursing cost?

Rates depend on the level of care, hours, and schedule your family needs. We discuss exact rates in your private consultation — no surprises, no obligation.

Will the same nurse come each time?

Consistency is the point. We prioritize assigning a dedicated nurse your child knows, and we introduce any backup nurse before they ever cover a shift alone.

What happens if our nurse calls out?

We staff a qualified replacement. Your family should never absorb a caregiver no-show — coverage is our responsibility, not yours.

How quickly can care start?

Often within days of your consultation, depending on your child's needs and schedule. We will give you an exact answer before you commit.

What areas do you serve?

Families throughout Metro Atlanta — Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Buckhead, East Cobb, Marietta, Suwanee, Duluth, and surrounding communities.

Is this connected to a government program?

No. Private nursing is a direct arrangement between your family and Compassion First. If you are exploring program-funded care for your child, we can help with that too — see our GAPP page.

Schedule a private consultation

Tell us what your family needs.

A member of our nursing team — not a call center — will reach out to schedule a private conversation about your child's care. Consultations are free and carry no obligation.
